"Wishes – the ring Right from our childhood, the power of making wishes is familiar to us: be it Aladdin rubbing his magic lamp, reciting magical poems to banish frightening nightmares, or the major or minor yearnings in our lives –the power of our wishes always seems to influence the way things work out. The plain ring invites you to listen to your wishes, irrespective of whether it is with words made available by others or self-created magical words - the wishes will be with you from now on."

"A child's cotton dress disintegrates as it becomes something else...a cloud of butterflies. 'While you were sleeping' was inspired by the legend of the win-laik-pya or 'soul butterfly'. It is believed that the soul-butterfly flies abroad when its owner is asleep, wandering through time and space, meeting the soul-butterflies of other persons and animals and returning when the owner awakes. Burmese children are still taught never to awaken anyone too suddenly, for fear the win-laik-pya cannot get back in time, in which case the person dies, or worse, lives on, without a soul."
Swimmers, Sea Pods and Residual Memory.
The Swimmer series is based on realizing the parallels between life in the ocean and life in general. The foremost realization is that in order to float one must be relaxed. If you panic you sink. In life we experience many situations that challenge us to stay relaxed, to keep our heads above water.
Sea Pods and Residual Memory are based on the imprinted memories of my time on the ocean, and the sharing of worlds - land and sea.
...The assembly of this portfolio illustrates a correlation of produced works lauren carried out as a student of the Fine Arts. Each jewelry design is a finished glaze test, or spatial experiment. Each is an extension of a larger, sculptural portfolio. While wearing a design, you are not only the viewer, but the exhibition... -Leonine Design Cali and Holi from the newest collection shown.
It’s honest, the sea... It makes you face things honestly, doesn’t it? -Philipe Dunne

Ruby Slippers and renouncing the unhappy veil from Mellow Traumatic
Ah, who in this wretched world has not at one time or another longed for a pair of Ruby Slippers? Whether in the literal sense or merely the metaphorical, the yearning for them is surely something with which we can all empathize. The glittering, sparkling encrustation of blood-red stones is certainly only a small part of their seductiveness. For just imagine slipping them on one's feet, and with them slipping on the courage to boldly greet the new day! This would undoubtedly be their true allure. O, the joy! To move through life with the understanding that one is in possession of something singularly beautiful and lovely, and that all passers-by are knowing of it, too! To hold securely in one's heart the awareness that, for once, the stares of others are not those of pity or disdain, but of envy! For who amongst us does not secretly wish to glow from the outside as well as from the inside? To have our unique nature revealed! To finally rid oneself of the mask! To be allowed to cast off the heavy cloak of shame, shedding the years of ridicule as if they were no more than a dusty, moth-devoured remnant. To banish forevermore the deliberate taunts and volatile outbursts of the frightful, unfeeling dictatorial class, and to dismiss those cruel naysayers and their all-too-familiar companions who languish treacherously in the cheering section of complacency. The glorious sensation of freedom! In it, we are redeemed! We would no longer be required to endure the indifference and condescension of those who believe themselves to be our superiors. The contest of wills so often prevalent in our relationships would cease, for in our new-found state of calm we would no longer be desirous of the approval that others may deign to give. Oh, no – the narrow-minded fools could go to Hell in a handbasket! Ha! Despair would no longer be our ragged escort! Instead, we would be accompanied to all of life's opulent galas with our friend Integrity. Yes, our authentic selves would be on display for the world to see! Like the glorious wings of a butterfly having just escaped the net of its bewildered captor. Do we not all believe ourselves to have an inner super-power? Is it not beyond question that most of our lives are spent searching for an external measure of this same strength? I, for one, believe these things to be true.– Eudora Splinterglass
"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves,as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the question now. Perhaps then, some day far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer." - Rainer Maria Rilke
