Her “Tasty Lace” exhibit at the Museum of Arts and Design will be an audience-participation event. “Newly designed tiles in white, bittersweet, and milk chocolate, sugar, genoise, shortbread, winegums, and brownies will be presented as a patchwork installation piece. Visitors will be invited to break, cut and tear apart the work of art, then consume it.” Tea, donated by The Shaded Leaf, will be served to help digest the work. Reservations are required for this unusual feast."

"Stain is a set of a teacups designed to improve through use. This project examines the assumption that use is damaging to a product (For example, scratches on an iPod).

The interior surface of the cup is treated so as to stain more in predetermined places. The more the cups are used, the more the pattern is revealed. Over time they will build up an individual pattern dependent on the users personal way of drinking tea."

Leaf Teas

Why is it that the French and Italians know how to preserve vegetables in a tin so much better than everyone else?
